In addition to the above projects, Lucas Strom did a semester-long independent study entitled Customizing Microsoft MapPoint with Visual Basic. He developed a Route Finder, a COM add-in to Create Pushpins for Nearby Places, and a COM add-in for Colliers Turley Martin Tucker (a full service, commercial real estate company) that quickly locates their six major markets and allows user zooming and panning.
